Meet the Anipals

The anipals are animals that I have met who have inspired me to write about them. Although there are many animals, both domestic and wild, that inspire me the anipals listed below are the ones who are stars in fiction stories with characters based off themselves, many of which are also going to be in one or more of my nonfiction books.

This is a link to the Youtube channel in which I upload videos about my pets and anipals occasionally as well as where my book related videos, starting with the next one, will be able to be found. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7qSx2uiAypsxiS01eb90Vg?feature=watch

Taco

Taco is a Chihuahua and my first rescue dog. He wasn't adopted from a shelter, instead he was saved from going to one. Taco enjoys cuddling with his humans, going for walks, food, and car rides as long as he isn't going to the vet's. He also enjoys laying in the sun, burrowing under blankets, and wearing a sweater. Taco doesn't play much but occasionally he will. Taco is a character in several of my stories. These stories are:

Black Cat and Chihuahua, Black Cat and Chihuahua 2: The Star Power Puppy, Black Cat and Chihuahua 3, The Origin of Wonder Wolf , Heroes United, and The Battle of Ebulon "Entry Point 12", as Chihuahua who at the start of Black Cat and Chihuahua, is called Brown Puppy, then later is sometimes called Pup and Amigo, A Chihuahua's Tale as the Chihuahua, Rescue Farm as Prince, and Spider and Jackal as Jackal.

Taco is also featured in: Animals in the Shelters in the My Rescue Pets Section. He is also in the book: My Pets and Their Lives. He also inspired the character of Prince in the story Rescue Farm, and the Other Realm creature known as the Mystical Chi found in both Mortal Realm Witch: Realms Unite?, and The Guide to Other Realm Creatures

Oreo

Oreo was a Dutch mix and was the first pet I ever rescued. Oreo was a friendly rabbit although she was a little territorial. She enjoyed treats, cuddling, bike riding and hopping around indoors and outdoors. She was very brave and adventurous, especially for a rabbit.

Besides bike rides she also loved to go for car rides, occasionally requesting them much like a dog would. Through controlled testings on a harness and leash, it was discovered that almost nothing could scare this little rabbit. Dogs were met with territoral boldness, and loud noises were met with incredible calmness. Once she was even outside while fireworks were going off which could be viewed easily from our house. Her reaction to all the noise was nothing more than a quick look up then to pull the leash towards a section of grass where she could sit and snack. Her only fears were cats and hawks.
One thing Oreo hated was squirrels. That was probably because a squirrell once ran over her when she was sitting under a tree. Oreo is in the story: The Rabbit Came Back as Skunk. She is also in Animals in the Shelters, which she acually inspired the writing of, in the My Rescue Pets section. She is also in the book: My Pets and Their Lives.

You can visit Oreo at:

Note: The stories: The Rabbit Came Back will be in a currently untitled book featuring different supernatural stories. Animals in the Shelters, (Title will either be changing or have additions made to it), and My Pets and Their Lives will both be nonfiction books.

CeJaye

CeJaye was a Toy Poodle and my first dog. He wasn't a rescue, and came from a breeder. I didn't get any choice in the dog I got or where it came from so for me rescuing one wasn't an option. CeJaye was very smart and loved to play. He also loved going for walks but we didn't go for many because he rarely let me put the leash on him and he didn't like to walk until we got to the street.

CeJaye also really loved food and attention, but never both at the same time. For most of his life he was a thief and a guarder of his stolen items. He was also food aggressive. At the end of his life all he stole were papers but he did that every chance he got. He also decided he wanted to be hand fed.

CeJaye's stories are: Spider and Jackal as Spider, and Pitbull Park as Goldendestiny whose former name in the story is Squeaky. He is also in the book: My Pets and Their LIves, and inspired the character of Rascal in The Dog and the Rabbit.

Note: The stories: Spider and Jackal will be a comic book. Pitbull Park will be in a currently untitled book featuring different animal adventure stories. My Pets and Their Lives will be a nonfiction book. The Dog and the Rabbit has yet to be assigned a book.

Friendly

Friendly was my first rabbit. She was a purebred Dutch and came from a 4H club. She was a very friendly rabbit and very smart. She loved attention and because of this she has been the only pet I have ever been able to teach to play dead. She also knew how to stay on command but all my pets learn that. Friendly was a bit odd when it came to food. She liked the treats from the pet store but wouldn't eat fresh vegetables. Friendly was also a really patient rabbit and because of this she let me dress her in doll clothes and more. She had a bit of a rough life which is where her story, titled The Rabbit Came Back, comes from. In the story Friendly is the ghost rabbit. She is also in the book: My Pets and Their Lives, and inspired the character of Pepper in The Dog and the Rabbit.

You can visit Friendly at: http://www.cuteness.com/pets/16977/Friendly

Note: The stories: The Rabbit Came Back will be in a currently untitled book featurning supernatural stories. My Pets and Their Lives will be a nonfiction book. The Dog and the Rabbit has yet to be assigned a book.

Lucky

Lucky may or may not have been a purebred cat. All I know about her is that she was a black domestic shorthair. When I met her she was a barn cat but at some time earlier in her life she had been a housecat. When I met her she had been living at the barn for several years so I don't really know anything about her history. Lucky was a very people friendly barn cat. She loved attention, treats, and laying in the sun and has always been one of my favorite cats. Lucky's stories are: Black Cat and Chihuahua and Black Cat and Chihuahua 2: The Star Power Puppy, Black Cat and Chihuahua 3, The Origin of Wonder Wolf, Heroes United, and The Battle of Ebulon "Entry Point 12" as Black Cat, also called B.C., and sometimes called Lucky, and Cabin Cats as C.C.

Note: The stories: Black Cat and Chihuahua, Black Cat and Chihuahua 2: The Star Power Puppy, and Heroes United will be in the book: Heroes United, featuring stories about heroes. Black Cat and Chihuahua 3, (Title will be changing) will be a standalone second person story and will be a book by itself. The Orgin of Wonder Wolf will be in Tales of Young Asantra: The Second Mortal Realm Witch Series Companion. The Battle of Ebulon  is a free book available at Smashwords and Entry Point 12 will be available for free on this website. Cabin Cats will be in a currently untitled book featuring different cat and horse stories.

Levi

Levi is a fun and loveable Appendix Quarter Horse. He is a lesson horse and my favorite horse in the barn. He is friendly with almost everyone, human or animal, that he meets. He really loves to be with ponies, and humans, and is also interested in dogs (and rocks).

His favorite kind of humans are the type who will cuddle with him and give him treats. Levi also really likes to play, and will play with almost anything. Outside in the pasture he plays with rocks, other horses, and ponies. Indoors, when I am with him, he has been known to take my brushes, hoof pick, riding crop, and once he even took my whole grooming bag. He also sometimes tries to play with the strap on my riding vest, the buckle on my chaps, and a few times he was caught licking my helmet.

Other than occasionally seeing if I will let him play with my grooming equipment Levi is a very easy horse to tack. He brushes and saddles with no complaints even when it is time to tighten the girth. The bit can take a little encouragement but he takes it within a few seconds. As for riding, Levi was trained Western and is still in the process of learning English. He is an almost perfect Western horse and is quickly becoming a very good English horse as well.

Unexpectedly, for a Western horse, Levi has taken an interest in jumping and occasionally likes to try to encourage his riders to go towards jumps when they are set up, even when there is no jumping planned for the lesson.

Levi has earned a place in his own story called: Wonder Wolf and Wonder Horse, as well as Heroes United, and The Battle of Ebulon "Entry Point 12" as Levi who is also known as Wonderhorse.

Felix & Sunny

Felix and Sunny were both arabians and lesson horses. Sunny was the first favorite horse I ever had and Felix came later. She was smart, friendly, and was a lot of fun to ride and be around. Sunny was the first horse I ever did any jumping on as well as the first horse I rode that occasionally got spooked but she never ran off. I don't really remember much else about her except that she liked to pull her head down. Strangely it didn't bug me with her but when any horse I rode later on did this I always got annoyed with them.

When I first rode her I was supposed to ride Felix but she was in Felix's stall and to me they looked alike so until I got on I didn't know I had the wrong horse. It wasn't until I got on that I found that out but the instructor let me use her anyway and after that first ride on her she became my lesson horse until she started to become lame a lot and I had to switch to a different horse.

After Sunny I somehow ended back on Felix, who is much like my dog CeJaye was. I like him but I also get annoyed with him fast. For a while he was my favorite horse in the barn but just like it was with CeJaye I found I like him best with only occasional contact with him. Felix and Sunny currently have the only fiction story I have ever written where most of it is based off the truth. The story is called: The Unseen Truth. In this book Felix is a skewbald horse called Striker and Sunny is a palomino know as Angel.

Although not a character in any of the stories in the book, Sunny also inspired the story: A New Animal Psychic, and the book: The Young Animal Psychics. Once you read The Unseen Truth you will know why and how she inspired them.

Note: The stories: The Unseen Truth will be in a currently untitled book featuring different stories about cats and horses. A New Animal Psychic will be in a currently untitled book featuring supernatural stories. The Young Animal Psychics is the title of a book about the younger adventures of the young animal psychics who will also be in Book Three of the Mortal Realm Witch series, Mortal Realm Witch: Realms Unite?
